The bar to which the 'carriage' hooks on had been broken. The replacement delivery was OK so I have warned my son to be aware of the weakness and to be careful to supervise our little lad when attaching the carriage. A big plus point is that it makes up into a very generous sized oval track for indoor or outdoor use .'

One of the wheel sets was out of gauge and this also caused the loco to derail. A quick twist of the wheel on the axle solved the problem. The loco is a little to slow. It would be nice if the manufactures offered extra track as a separate item.'

My only slight criticisms are: 1. the speed is a little on the slow side. 2. The train can tip up backwards if the two clip-on steps are not fitted. 3. The forward/reverse switch is a bit too sensitive for small fingers. Having said all that, it will give hours of fun and the children love it. I wonder if I can get some more track!'
